These terms govern your use of MicHunts, operated by MicHunts LLC. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

The service

MicHunts is a directory of comedy open mics. Comics can search listings, save favorites, and request spots. Hosts and venues can list and manage their own open mics.

We don't run the open mics. Listings are submitted by hosts, venues, and our own research. Times change, open mics get cancelled, venues close. We do our best to keep things accurate but we can't guarantee any listing is correct or that an open mic will happen. Confirm before you drive across town.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 to create an account.
• Provide accurate information and keep your password secure.
• You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• One person or organization per account. Don't share logins.

Listing an open mic

By submitting a listing, you confirm that:

• You run the open mic, represent the venue, or are otherwise authorized to list it.
• The information is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• You'll keep it current, or deactivate it if the open mic stops.

What counts as one listing. A single open mic that runs on multiple days with the same name, time, and details is one listing with multiple days selected — not one per day. Please don't post the same open mic several times; duplicates clutter search results for comics and we may remove them.

We may edit or remove listings that are inaccurate, duplicated, spam, or otherwise inappropriate.

Subscriptions and billing

• MicLister plans are paid subscriptions. Current pricing is shown in the app.
• Each plan includes a 7-day free trial. You won't be charged until it ends.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
• Cancel anytime. You keep access through the end of the paid period.
• Purchases made in the iOS or Android app are billed by Apple or Google and are managed through your Apple or Google account, subject to their refund policies. Purchases made on the web are billed through Stripe.
• If a subscription lapses, your listings are deactivated, not deleted. They return when you resubscribe.

We may change pricing. Existing subscribers will be notified before a change takes effect on their plan.

Spot requests

Requesting a spot through MicHunts is a request, not a reservation. Hosts decide who performs. We're not involved in that decision and can't guarantee you stage time.

Acceptable use

Don't:

• Post false, misleading, or spam listings
• Claim an open mic you have no connection to
• Harass other users or open mic hosts
• Scrape, copy, or resell our listing data
• Attempt to access accounts or data that aren't yours
• Interfere with or overload the service

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you submit. You grant us a license to display and distribute it as part of running the service — which is to say, to show your listing to comics looking for open mics.

Disclaimers

MicHunts is provided "as is." We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that listings are accurate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MicHunts LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including wasted trips to open mics that didn't happen.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll revise the date above and notify you of significant changes. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
