MicHunts

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 25, 2026

MicHunts LLC ("MicHunts", "we", "us") operates michunts.com, michunts.app, and the MicHunts mobile apps. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

Information you give us

Information collected automatically

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We work with a small number of trusted service providers who process data only on our behalf, only for the purposes below, and who are not permitted to use it for their own:

We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

What is publicly visible

Open mic listings are public — that's the point of the service. If you list an open mic, the venue, schedule, and any contact or social links you add will be visible to anyone using MicHunts.

Your account email is not shown publicly. Your favorites and saved searches are private to you. Spot requests are visible only to you and to the host of the open mic you requested.

Email

We send transactional email — account confirmations, spot-request notifications, listing changes, and billing notices. These are part of the service. If you'd rather not receive a particular type, contact us.

Your choices

Children

MicHunts is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Many open mics take place in bars and venues with age restrictions.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access controls that limit each account to its own information. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously and fix problems when we find them.

Changes

We'll update this page when things change, and revise the date at the top. Significant changes will be communicated in the app or by email.
